Q. Will the distance between my eyes become narrower after rhinoplasty?
A. If a graft of 3mm or more is inserted in the midline to raise the nasal dorsum, the distance between the eyes may appear narrower, and there may be an effect of reducing the space between the eyes compared to before the surgery. However, at Instar Plastic Surgery, we do not perform excessive surgeries that would make the distance between the eyes look narrow, as we consider factors such as the customer's facial shape and the harmony between the eyes and the nose.
Q. What is the best type of implant to use for rhinoplasty?
A. Generally, if we consider height and natural appearance, silicone is considered the most ideal implant. However, the choice of implant may vary depending on each individual's preferences and desires.
Q. I recently had filler injected into my nose. Can I still undergo rhinoplasty?
A. If the filler injected is made of hyaluronic acid, it can be dissolved with an injection, and rhinoplasty can be performed immediately. However, if the filler is made of a substance other than hyaluronic acid, the surgical procedure may require removal of the filler.
